This set includes 30 postcards, all photographs of a quirky nature. Collages of similar items, snapshots of random scenes, interesting signs, etc. They are sturdy and the card stock feels nice in hand. I bought these to use for Postcrossing, and they are definitely suitable for that. A person receiving one of these cards will hopefully find it thought-provoking and interesting. Some people might just think "weird," I suppose. One star off because I absolutely detest the printing on the back of the postcard (see photo). The verbiage at the top left shows the "title" and "number" of the card within the collection, along with other info that simply takes up space I would be writing on---these are small postcards, after all!

There are generally many different pictures on each card, which to be honest, I was not expecting at all, so I was disappointed. That cards are nice to look at and send out, and they allow me to see views I wouldn't be able to see in my lifetime. For the cost, I don't regret my purchase at all.
Danielle Steel definitely knows how to get you hooked onto a book. This novel was amazing. Her descriptions of different countries in the early '30s are spot on. You visualize everything and you're taken to another time. I have to say that she does not disappoint one bit. 'Wanderlust' is about a young woman named Audrey Driscoll. Her parents pass away and she's left caring for her younger sister and grandfather. She takes after her father when it comes to traveling the world. She loves photography she wants to go to different countries to take photos and see the sights. I'm not going to go into detail, but to say that you will feel a lot of different emotions. I certainly did. I definitely recommend this one.
A war correspondent and a photographer meet up and
Do a lot of traveling. Go thru a war and still love one
Another, this has a happy ending.
I have recently become an avid Danielle Steel reader. I have about a dozen or so under my belt so far. This was the best
Of all of them for sure! In fact, I wouldn't mind rereading it
Again sometime, and that for me is a tell for how I enjoyed
The story. Enjoy!!
I send postcards around the world as part of a website called «postcrossing.com», and I often run out of cool, quirky or interesting cards to send. I took a chance on this card set and was so pleasantly surprised by what I received. First of all, the cards are super thick and sturdy. They don't easily bend and feel well-suited to travel around the world and arrive intact. The backs aren't glossy, so writing on them is easy and mess-free. Secondly, the images are interesting, mostly retro photos from international travel in a bygone area. Some of the images depicted are an 80s-ish Moscow tube map, anti-nudism signs on a Bali beach, and several of international cafes and bars with local menus and offerings. Thirdly, the cards are packed in a box that opens easily, and doesn't need to be torn apart just to take the cards out. For the purchase price, I'm very happy with this product, and I imagine the recipients of these super-fun travel cards will be, too.
I know this product has mixed reviews, and I think that's mainly because it depends on what you're expecting. Most of the cards are random, every day images seen by the photographer while "wandering" and not tourist attractions or scenery. A few are collages of items (cars, air mail labels, mannequin faces, views from airplane windows). Not being a huge fan of scenic view cards myself, these are right up my alley. As for quality, the cards are nice and thick and the colors are great. The back of each card has a caption and a place for mailing address. If you like out of the ordinary cards, these are for you. If you're looking for touristy cards, you probably won't like these.
Great love story interspersed with the horrors of WW2. War details are made realistic as they affect the lives of two couples and their families. Courage and perseverance abound as the characters face many challenges in their personal and war related experiences
